We are also known for our “choose as you go” format. Customers are encouraged to customize their own burrito creation, choosing their product (burrito, burrito bowl, salad, taco or quesadilla), their flavour profile (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, vegetarian) and a wide variety of fillings (salsas, rice, beans, potatoes, peppers, cheese, sour cream, sauces, guacamole and more). Every ingredient used in the preparation of our food is of the highest quality available. Burrito Libre is an environmentally conscious organization and our stores operate with the most efficient water, energy, and cooking equipment available on the market. We use home-grown, local, natural raw ingredients and our meats come from the best local farmers that raise their animals naturally and employ only sustainable farming practices.
Burrito Libre opened its first restaurant on November 08, 2008. Currently there are three stores operating in Edmonton Alberta. Additional Edmonton stores are scheduled to open before the end of the 2013 and two more in Vancouver, British Columbia by early 2014.

Burrito Libre - Restaurant Locations
Sherwood Park: location opened in November 2008. It is located between a Subway and a TD Bank on a pad of a major shopping center. The community is vibrant and has become extremely receptive to the brand. This is clearly demonstrated by the sales trend at the restaurant.
U of A: location is located at the bottom of Newton Place apartment tower. It is next to Rodeo Burger and four locations from a Subway. Across the street is the University Hospital and our customers are students, U of A employees and residents in the area.
Hub Mall: location is on the University of Alberta campus inside Hub Mall.
Our restaurants offer a comfortable & connected environment. Our decor, colours & overall restaurant design incorporate traditional & modern elements into a warm, inviting & casual atmosphere. Our use of tile, wood and stainless steel give our restaurants a timeless and comfortable arena to stage our food preparation areas & best serve our customers. Each restaurant has its own unique look, & all meet with burrito Libre’s architectural and design criteria. Take in a game on one of our many flat screens or browse the net on our free wireless.
